Travel Nurses Get Ready to Go |
 |
| |
If you haven't noticed it lately, hospitals are requiring a lot more documentation from Travelers.
We understand your frustration with the extra paperwork needed and believe me when I say, the agencies are not thrilled with having to ask Travelers for all the documentation.
A good trend we are seeing with experienced Travelers is that the Traveler is keeping a completed file of everything that might be needed for their next assignment. Vaccinations, medical clearances, reference letters, updated resumes, certifications, licenses, drug screen results, etc. all help to make the process run smoother and gives the Traveler the flexibility to work for whatever agency has the best assignment.
I know our team just loves it when we get a packet from a Traveler with many of the documents that will be required by the Hospital because it shows that the Traveler is really serious about Traveling.
If you are a Traveling Medical Professional or if you are thinking of Traveling, please consider keeping a updated Travelers file with all of the documentation that might be needed.
It's a great time to Travel!
